I love connecting people to Intercambio, planning strategy and seeing transformations happen in families, due in part to the behind the scenes work that we do!”
Gina Garcia is the new East County Program Manager. Before that, Gina was the Longmont and Lafayette Program Coordinator. She is the daughter of immigrants and an alumni scholar of the I Have a Dream Foundation. Her focus now is to support students taking classes and to create a community where students can connect with others and feel part of the community. “There is a lot of potential to grow our East County program and to create greater community here”, says Gina.

Alma started as an Intercambio student in 2014, and then became an intern. Most recently, Alma worked at the YMCA and in the financial field while participating in community activities. “I’m proud to be part of the Intercambio family. I love meeting people from different places and cultures. Intercambio has students, teachers and staff with great cultural diversity”, says Alma.

He is also a student at Front Range Community College and is the VP of the Latino club there. Prior to Intercambio David worked in the food industry. “I’m excited to use my talents here, to learn new things, and to grow with a fast-growing organization.”
