Alexa Laaker

Originally from a small town near Omaha, Nebraska, Alexa has always had a passion for connecting with people and a keen eye for organization and efficiencies. After completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Industrial / Organization Psychology, she spent time travelling Europe and volunteering with a Cultural Exchange Program, Workaway. Having a diverse work background and skill set, she is excited to join the team at Intercambio and looks forward to working towards our mission of building skills, confidence, and connections near and far!  

In her free time, Alexa enjoys being in nature – whether it’s hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the fresh air on her patio with her husband, cat, and dog. She loves spending quality time with her family and friends, drinking warm tea while reading a book, and listening to all kinds of music – bonus points if it’s something you can dance to!
