Kandyce Pinckney

Kandyce comes to Intercambio with more than ten years in the refugee and immigrant network in the metro Denver area, having worked various roles in refugee resettlement, run the Denver branch of an organization working to assist special immigrant visa holders from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families, and spent 6 years as an adult ESL teacher. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health at CU Denver. Years ago, Intercambio taught Kandyce how to teach pronunciation classes, and she’s excited to now work for the organization that benefitted her as a teacher and her student language learners!

Outside of work, Kandyce spends her time deciding between which country to plan a trip to, or whether to ski or snowboard… unless there’s a global pandemic, in which case you can find her at home, baking, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family.
