Kira Ross

As a native of Boulder and a long-time appreciator of Intercambio, Kira is thrilled to join the team as the National Program Coordinator. With a BA in Psychology from Naropa University and a strong background in office and administrative management, Kira brings in-depth experience in both corporate and non-profit settings. Throughout high school and college, Kira served as a volunteer tutor with San Juan Learning Center, and worked as a mentor with Peers Building Justice through MESA (Moving to End Sexual Assault) and Safehouse Progressive Alliance for non-violence. She later served as Executive Assistant to the director of Domestic and Sexual Violence Services of Carbon County in Red Lodge, MT, where she learned extensive strategies in grant writing, volunteer training and victim advocacy work. More recently, Kira managed the Boulder office of a global renewable energy company, where she provided comprehensive administrative support to a team of corporate professionals. Kira’s deepening focus on education, social justice work and improving the lives of local immigrants led her to Intercambio. When she is not in the Intercambio office, Kira enjoys dancing, running, spending time with family, drinking coffee, and exploring nature with her canine friend, Thor.
