Lucia Duran-Hernandez, MA, is an anthropologist, grants manager, and native of Sevilla, Spain. With four years of international nonprofit experience in project design and implementation, she’s raised $1,000,000 to support immigrants, homeless individuals, and families across Spain, the Saharawi Republic, Mexico, and the U.S. Lucia loves using her analytical and planning skills to create opportunities for those who need them most.
In 2024, Lucia joined Intercambio as a grants manager, where she secures funding to expand the organization’s mission of empowering individuals to achieve their language and community goals. As an immigrant herself, she deeply understands that having a sense of belonging is key to a happy life in any foreign country.
Outside of work, Lucia enjoys learning about self-awareness, riding her old bike, and watching thrillers.
