Stephanie McDowell

Stephanie McDowell is a skilled fundraising professional with ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector as well as ten years with a Fortune 500 company. Building genuine human connections is her greatest joy. Stephanie most recently served with JDRF (now called Breakthrough T1D) working on their $3.8 million gala, donor stewardship, and other community events. She also has extensive experience with area arts nonprofits in fundraising, events management, arts education, and gallery management.

Stephanie is a native New Mexican and earned a BA in English and an MBA from St. Mary’s University. She is a graduate of Leadership Evergreen and served on the board from 2019-2022. Outside of work she is a long-time portrait and wedding photographer. In her free time, she enjoys the rich Denver arts scene, festivals, hiking, fiber arts, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
