Support immigrant families with generosity. Walk the talk.

When I think about the many adults taking English with Intercambio, I think about their hard work, resilience, and dedication to their families.  Now, more than ever, it is time to continue sharing positive stories about our diverse community:

One student, Trinidad, was determined to support her children to succeed in school. Trinidad explains that she enrolled in Intercambio classes because she wanted to set a positive example of dedication to education and self-worth for her children.  After six years of hard work, she graduated from Intercambio’s most advanced level.

She recently read aloud at “Reading Week”, in Spanish and English, to her son Oliver’s entire third grade class and he exclaimed with pride, “That’s my mom!”
